Aurangabad / Mumbai, Aug 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday inaugurated new MTDC website, renovated tourist accommodation at Sinhagad and boat club at Ganpatipule from his official Varsha bungalow virtually.

The state has a wide variety of tourism attractions such as forests, ancient forts, caves, temples, beaches and wildlife, he said in an official press statement.

The Department of Tourism has undertaken various initiatives to reach out to the world, he informed.

This will attract tourists from all over the country and the world to Maharashtra and through it the tourism development of the state will be boosted to a large extent by job creation and economic growth, Mr Thackeray added.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Higher & Technical Education Minister Uday Samant, Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of State Aditi Tatkare, additional chief secretary to the Chief Minister Ashish Kumar-Singh, among others, were present on the occasion.
